16 August 2021: Recovering from the Move

For those just tuning in, Dancing Lights Press moved from Finland to the United States in June. There were a ton of business reasons behind it, which I’ve covered elsewhere. We now have the capability to grow as a company, and become the lo-fi tabletop roleplaying publisher you deserve. The thing is, I’m still recovering from the move.

It has taken longer than expected to get things set up. Even though I’m a United States citizen by birth, I’m experiencing some culture shock, more than I felt when I moved from the US to Finland. This has been less like moving from one location to another and more like starting¬† from scratch.

Still Recovering from the Move

The good news is that I am finally starting to settle. Even though I’m behind schedule, things are moving forward. The first wave of Director’s Cut books will be sent to the printer by the end of the week. Other waves should follow weekly after that. Give it another 4 to 6 weeks and we’ll be back to relative “normal”.

I want to thank all of you for your continued support during this transition. It’s been rough, but it’s all for a good cause. This hard reboot is going to allow DXP to do great things going forward. I mean it when I say I want to be the publisher you deserve.
